We’re not the same as other lenders

Neil Fender

Head of Classic Car Finance

Neil began his career in banking, mainly in the commercial sector. After over 30 years’ experience in the banking world, Neil expanded his horizons to follow his dream of dealing with classic cars through setting up his dealership Fender-Broad. Neil’s first classic car was the ‘rear engine super car’ – the Hillman Imp! Neil is currently dreaming of owning a C-Type Jaguar, which he may well need Classic Car Finance for!

Tom Senior

Director of Classic Car Finance

Tom has been in the banking industry for over 20 years with experience in private, corporate and personal banking. Tom joined Cambridge & Counties Bank in 2015 as Director of Credit, growing the department before moving to help launch Classic Car Finance. Tom has a lifelong passion for cars that was passed down from his dad who attended F1 races with the likes of Jim Clark & Juan Manual Fangio and his desire for cars has continued. Ignoring cost and any sense of practicality, Tom would love a 1965 Aston Martin DB5 or the slightly more sensible Bentley Continental GTC W12 combining speed with space for four.

Mike Kirsopp

After spending over 30 years working in the financial services industry, specifically within the commercial lending sector, Mike was appointed to CEO of Cambridge & Counties Bank in 2014. Much of his career was spent lending within the commercial banking arm of Lloyds Bank which also included senior roles in the business change and strategy functions. Mike has a real love of classic cars and included within his collection are an Austin 1300 GT – in wild orange, a MG 1300 Saloon – in lilac and an MGB GT V8 – the real classic car!

He joined Cambridge & Counties upon launch of the asset finance offering and continues to oversee the credit function in the launch of Classic Car Finance.
